A Note from our Senior Minister

Art McNeeseSometimes visiting a new church is a little intimidating. Here's what you can expect if you attend one of worship times on Sunday:

Children's Worship: Every Sunday, we provide children's worship for nursery through 5th grade, during our adult worship time. Just check your kids in a few minutes before worship. You will find security kiosks for purposes of checking in your child and then picking them up after worship. Our trained and enthusiastic staff will care for your children in a kid-friendly atmosphere that is fun, dynamic, and Christ-centered! Your kids will have the time of their lives and learn a lot--who knows, you might learn something too from what they receive in this action-packed, biblically based learning experience.

Adult Meetings: Our corporate worship is characterized by praise and honor to God. We focus on celebrating God's love and His holiness. We often say, "Come as you are, but don't stay as you are." BridgeWay is a place where you are accepted and love unconditionally. It's also a place where we challenge each other to learn more about Christ's will for our lives. Practical messages are designed to connect Biblical teaching with everyday concerns in our lives. No matter where you are in your spiritual journey, you can find a place to jump in and continue your search to know God better.

Music: Whether we're singing hymns or contemporary praise songs, we encourage everyone to participate. The focus of music at BridgeWay is to call everyone into the presence of God and to recognize his greatness and kindness. You don't have to have a great voice: just a heart that wants to connect with God.

Communion: We share in communion every Sunday, as a special time to remember and celebrate the death and resurrection of Christ. We practice open communion, so that everyone who believes in Christ is welcome and encouraged to join in.

Prayer: If you have a prayer need, you can share it on the card that is provided each week. You can mark your prayer request as confidential, if you prefer. If you have a more open request, the BridgeWay staff will pray over your request during the week. Prayer partners are available at the close of each morning worship time to pray with, and they will keep your requests confidential as well.

Offering: We take an offering each week as an act of worship and to support the ministries of the church. As a guest, you're free to participate but we don't want you to feel obligated in any way to do so. If you complete a guest attendance card or a prayer card, we urge you to put these cards in the offering baskets as they are passed.

What to Wear: You can wear jeans (most of us do) or a business suit, whatever makes you comfortable. We're more concerned with meeting your real life needs than with what you wear. We're a casual community where we like to be real and authentic.

We meet every Sunday at 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.

If you have other questions, give us a call at 972-317-9500.
