If you have a child born or adopted from 2019-2021, we invite you to participate in our Baby Dedications on November 14. The dedication will take place during the 10:30am service and, you, as parents, have the opportunity to make a public commitment before God, your church, and your family to raise your child in a Christ-centered home.
Frequently Asked Questions:Who may dedicate a child?
Anyone who is making the choice to commit their life to model the ways of Jesus and the Bible to their child, or children, is welcome. If you are the only parent who is a follower of Christ, or you are a single parent, we welcome you to be part of a baby dedication celebration.
What does BridgeWay Church believe about baby dedication and salvation?
Baby Dedication does not impart grace or salvation to a child. Salvation comes only through faith in Jesus Christ as each person recognizes their sinfulness and receives forgiveness and eternal life through Christ and His sacrifice.
At what age can a child take part in the baby dedication celebration?
We do not have a set age requirement for baby dedication. The average age for a child to be dedicated is 2 months up to two years.
