According to Jesus, we are the light of the world! He calls us to let our light shine so others may see our good deeds and glorify our Father in heaven (Matthew 5:14,16). The purpose of GLO women’s ministry is to provide opportunities for spiritual growth, to fellowship in Christ’s love with other women, and to be a bridge of outreach to those in need.
Ladies, you’re invited to participate in GLO gatherings and various other events that help us live the mission of Growth, Love & Outreach:
Our GLO evenings are generally held every other month, and they take many forms. We usually start with a light buffet supper and lots of visiting, then begin the ‘program’ at 7pm. It might be a time of teaching, an inspiring video, testimonies, a craft activity, or a service project. But Christ is always at the center, and there’s always time for sharing and discussion. We meet in the worship center at BridgeWay.
Free childcare is provided, but registration is required – please click here to register your kids.

Women’s Connection Weekend: Conversations with God
April 7 & 8 Friday night 6:30-9pm | Saturday 8:30am-2:30pm
Our goal for this weekend is that you will experience community, worship, laughter, and soul renewal. Our guest speaker is Rebecca Carrell, who co-hosts Mornings with Jeff & Rebecca on KCBI radio (90.9 FM). Through Rebecca’s Biblical teaching, we’ll explore how to grow in everyday intimacy with God. For your breakout activity, choose either Games, Crafts ($10 extra), or Christ-centered yoga. Held at the BridgeWay building, this event includes dinner on Friday, and continental breakfast and catered lunch on Saturday. Cost for the weekend is only $40. Cute T-shirts are available for $10 when you register. Register here.
Here are a few more opportunities for women to grow in the Lord, love each other, and reach out to people in need:
Salvation Army Women’s Outreach
Two Saturdays each month, we go to the Salvation Army Carr-Collins Center in Dallas to serve women who are transitioning from prison back into society. We visit with them, pray for them, share our faith with them, and just love them! We also host an annual banquet for them at our church building. If you’d like more info about this wonderful ministry, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Coffee Break Women’s Bible Study
Tuesday Mornings 9:15-11:30am
Come enjoy weekly fellowship & Biblical teaching. This Bible study meets during the school year at a home in Lantana. For info, email Ann at email@example.com.
Community Bible Study (CBS)
Coffee for Three
Meet & grow relationships with women at BridgeWay. When you sign up for either a daytime or evening slot, you’ll be teamed with 2 other women to go get coffee (or whatever) once a month for 3 months. Your trio chooses the time & place that works best for you to meet for conversation & fellowship. Each quarter, you can sign up to be in a new threesome – which means you’ll have lots of new friends by the end of the year! Click here to sign up.
Sign up to receive an email when a need for meals arises (due to illness, new baby, death in a family, etc). You can provide a meal on a day that works best for you. Nothing fancy necessary – either homemade or store-bought will be a great blessing! To sign up, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
