BridgeWay Groups

At BridgeWay, part of our mission is connecting to others through intentional community. We want to make it easy for you to find a group where you can learn, grow, and find meaningful relationships. To do this, BridgeWay offers three types of groups–Connection Groups, D-Groups, and Classes.

Connection Groups

Connection Groups are gatherings of between 10-20 people. Connection Groups are a great way to make friends and to develop stronger relationships at BridgeWay. We meet in homes in the Flower Mound, TX area all throughout the week. Some groups choose to meet at the church. Each group is unique and chooses their own meeting schedule and curriculum. Some groups study a particular book of the Bible while others discuss the weekly sermon. Connection Groups generally cater to certain demographics (childcare may or may not be provided).

D-Groups

D-Groups are designed to create and multiply disciples. They consist of 3-5 men or women, and they meet weekly for one year. D-Groups are centered around 5 simple disciplines that help us to become more like Jesus.

Bible Reading. We have several plans that your group can choose from. Some plans focus on the New Testament, others are a survey of the entire Bible. Journaling. After reading Scripture, we journal about what we have learned. Prayer. We share requests and pray. Scripture Memorization. Memorizing God’s Word has inherent value. Your group will work to commit portions of Scripture to memory. Accountability. We grow best when we have other people in our lives to help us.

Since D-Groups have a higher commitment level and structure, they are not always open for new members. If you want to be involved in the next season of D-Groups (they usually start in February) join the “D-Group Interest Group” to let our team know that you are interested.

Classes

Classes are short-term groups that are centered around a specific topic. Depending on the curriculum, a class will run between 8-15 weeks. When choosing a class, select a topic and time that works for you. Classes require registration and may have a fee* for materials and childcare needs.
