Impact Denton

The cornerstone of local missions at Bridgeway is Love One. This involves loving lost friends and neighbors, serving them, inviting them, and sharing the gospel when the opportunity arises.

In addition to Love One, we have an initiative called “Impact Denton” which is focused on developing local partnerships that enable BridgeWay members to meet practical needs. Two of our partners are Heart of the City and Kyle’s Place.

HEART OF THE CITY

Our partner, Heart of the City, serves those in need in the Lewisville/Denton County area by providing food, clothing, school supplies, English education and other services.  Many of those served are immigrants from other countries seeking a better life and with limited resources for their transition.  This is one way BW members can Welcome the Nations in our area.

KYLE’S PLACE

Our partner, Kyle’s Place, is a 15-bed housing facility for teens who have difficulties in their family environment.  BW provides opportunities for Kyle’s Place teens and pre-teens to attend Connect on Wednesday night and to the BW services on Sunday morning.
